An ISIN is an International Securities Identification Number uniquely identifies a 12-alpha-numeric characters that identifies a financial security.

An ISIN consists of three parts:

• A two-letter country code, which are for the issuing country

• A nine alpha-numeric characters, national security identifier which identifies the security

• A single check digit.
